About

I joined the faculty at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) in 2021 as an Assistant Professor. I earned my B.S. degree in Animal Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a minor in Captive Wild Animal Management. I completed my graduate degrees (M.S. and Ph.D.) in reproductive physiology within the Department of Animal Science at UNL. I was an Assistant Professor at the University of Central Missouri for 3 years before returning to Nebraska to join the faculty within the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, hiking with my boxer, and playing racquetball.
